Terms and Conditions
All classes are subject to change. While Antz Pantz Dance uses its best efforts to operate classes as per the timetable published on this website, in some instances changes may be required due to fluctuations in demand and venue restrictions. Any changes required will be communicated to those affected prior to the date classes commence.
By enrolling in our classes, you are committing to a service contract for a complete term. We do not offer refunds if there is an issue with the service that is outside of our control. i.e - a change of mind. We offer a FREE TRIAL to new customers to ensure that our customers are satisfied with our program prior to enrolling. Therefore, no refunds are available on term fees. However, make up classes are available.
Make-up class policy
If your child is unable to attend a class, a make-up class may be available. We cannot guarantee there will be availability in all classes. A maximum of two (2) make-up classes per term are available. Make-up classes do not carry over to the next term and no credit is available for classes missed. Make-up classes can only be booked up to 7 days in advance. To book a make-up class, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your request.
DUE TO THE COVID-19 GUIDELINES AND REQUIREMENT THAT ANYONE WITH SYMPTOMS MUST STAY HOME, WE ARE OFFERING EXTRA MAKE-UP CLASSES THROUGHOUT TERM 3. THESE MUST BE USED IN THE CURRENT TERM OF ENROLMENT, OR IN TERM 4 IF ENROLLED IN TERM 4, AND CAN ONLY BE BOOKED 7 DAYS IN ADVANCE.
Antz Pantz Dance has no compulsory uniform, however students should wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move/dance in. Dress ups are always welcome!
Dance shoes are not compulsory, however wearing a dance/jazz shoe is strongly encouraged as it will help with movement and correct use of feet.
We only take bookings for an entire term and our fees are structured this way. Unfortunately at this time, we cannot take casual bookings or pro-rata weeks you may be away. Please refer to our make-up class policy for missed classes. All fees must be paid before the commencement of your first class. If fees are not paid by this time, your child can not attend class. Fees are neither refundable nor transferable between students or terms.
A $2.50 booking fee applies to all payments made via our online payment gateway, E-Way.
Parents and guardians are required to be present for the duration of each Tiny Tot and Preschool dance class. Antz Pantz Dance is not a registered child care provider and is not therefore licensed to care for children without parental or guardian supervision.
We require parents to remain in the room for the Tiny Tot (2-3.5yo) classes to maintain class structure and focus. Parent participation is also required at times, so be prepared to take your shoes off and have some fun! Parents are encouraged to watch the Preschool (3.5-5yo) and Junior (5-10yo) classes from outside the room to avoid distraction, allow students to focus and maintain a smooth running of the class.
In the unlikely event that your child requires first aid during our classes, this will remain the responsibility of the parent.
Younger Sibling Policy
Younger siblings under the age of 2 or siblings enrolled in another Antz Pantz dance class may participate in classes where deemed appropriate and approved by the teacher.
Social Media and Image Policy
From time to time images from performances, class photos and various events will be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to reproduction on the Antz Pantz Dance social media platforms. By enrolling in an Antz Pantz Dance program you agree to such use by Antz Pantz Dance. Parents consent to the use of images of their children in this way, and waive all rights in respect of such images. Antz Pantz Dance will not sell the images to third parties. If you would like to opt out of this policy please email email@example.com.
At concerts, performances, community events, or open class days parents are permitted to take images of their children. This means that parents consent to other parents taking images of their children. Parents must use all such images appropriately. Antz Pantz Dance takes no responsibility or liability in relation to the use of images by parents.
Antz Pantz Dance encourages active and responsible participation by parents on its social media platforms (e.g. Facebook). All posts and comments must be respectful, polite, inoffensive and appropriate. Antz Pantz Dance does not always monitor its platforms, so if you see that something inappropriate or offensive has been posted, please contact Antz Pantz Dance immediately via phone. Antz Pantz Dance takes no responsibility for the posts or comments of parents on its platforms.
Children are not to post, comment or upload content to Antz Pantz Dance’s platforms. These platforms and forums are for parents only.
Food and drink
Food is not permitted in the studio during any Antz Pantz Dance class.
We request that all children bring a named water bottle with them to each class.
Medical Treatment and Injury
Parents agree that by enrolling in our program they are allowing their children to participate at their own risk. Dance is a physical activity and whilst all reasonable care is taken, to the extent permitted by law Antz Pantz Dance is not liable for injuries sustained during classes, instruction, performance activities or otherwise.
In the case of an injury or health concern in respect of your child, all reasonable efforts will be made to contact you promptly if you are not present at the time. But, in the case of an emergency, or in the event that you cannot be reached, Antz Pantz Dance will seek medical attention for the student. This may involve Antz Pantz Dance calling an ambulance for the student. You agree to indemnify Antz Pantz Dance for any costs incurred in obtaining such emergency medical attention, for example ambulance fees.
It is a requirement by Antz Pantz Dance, and the venues through which we operate (HYC and HNCH) that the COVIDSafe Application is installed on your phone before entering the centre and active whilst attending our classes.
In accordance with health advice, students and parents must NOT ATTEND Antz Pantz Dance classes if they:
are COVID-19 positive. You cannot attend Antz Pantz Dance classes until you are medically cleared to return.
have close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19. You cannot attend Antz Pantz Dance classes for 14 days since last contact with the confirmed case.
are unwell or have flu like symptoms including: a cough, high temperature, running nose or sore throat. If you or your child present with any of these symptoms, you will be asked to leave the class and we will offer you an extra make-up class for the missed session.
Staff will also stay at home and self-isolate for 14 days if they are unwell or have any flu-like symptoms or if they have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19. If this results in classes being cancelled, refunds will be made for any classes by Antz Pantz Dance.
